Financial Controller

Artis Finance & Accountancy is pleased to be working with this well-established and growing business based in Caerphilly, seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated finance professional to play a key role in driving financial strategy, improving processes, and ensuring sound financial management.

Financial Controller Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage cash flow, financial planning, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting.

Financial Controller Skills & Experience Required:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to drive business performance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within the manufacturing sector is highly advantageous.
