ArtisHR are currently supporting an exciting business in north Bristol with the recruitment of a Senior Learning & Development Business Partner for a permanent full time post paying £35-40,000 pa.

Role purpose
To work closely with the key business leaders to create an energetic Learning environment across the company, whilst ensuring the business works towards improving the individual and team knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to drive business results.
To be responsible for the design and development of the training strategy including personal development plans, budgetary control, improving the training course calendar and the preparation of training materials.

Key responsibilities
*Work independently and as part of a small learning team to deliver prioritized key learning deliverables
*Continuously develop the skills and performance of all managers
*Act as a role model, championing the organisations culture, values and behaviours. Positively influence, motivate and inspire others to achieve their personal development plan targets
*Provide a coaching environment to support a culture where individuals are continually developing their skills and knowledge
*Carry out side by side and remote coaching sessions to meet the needs of the business
*Initiate changes and improvements to training and coaching programmes, processes and procedures as appropriate.
*Create and update existing e-Learning modules as required
*Coaching of managers at all levels across the business
*Maintain clear records of coaching activity including improvement plans
*Address improvement points raised in collaboration with these stakeholders
*Be responsible for the L&D budget, ensuring that it is managed in accordance with time, cost and quality principles
*Working within the Training team you will be responsible for the administration of all training events whether that would be class room based, private workshops or online learning products
*Manage and develop the L&D Business Partner
*Creation of events into the systems to publish schedules externally
Health and Safety Responsibilities

*To work in line with duty of care to self/others and ensure Health & Safety guidelines are followed in line with company policy.
*To protect the health and safety of visitors / contractors / external providers brought to site and ensure relevant H&S guidelines are meant.
*To bring to the attention of the business hazards, risks, concerns, accidents or near misses.
*Comply with any local PPE requirements.
*To ensure health and safety requirements are met for/ by reporting team, by formal or informal inspections.
*To ensure all staff under their control are adequately informed, trained and Supervised on HS&E issues & where necessary arrange or do the training.
*To ensure adequate provision and use of safety equipment including PPE for area (in line with department procedures, Risk Assessments etc)
*To foster and represent a culture of H&S compliance
*To ensure suitable and sufficient accident investigations are carried out.

Experience for the role
*Proven experience in a Senior Learning and Development role
*Strong experience in Talent Development
*Previous people management experience
*Experience of leading at a senior level, and engaging a Senior Management Team
*Ability to identify business needs and implement appropriate solutions to support the business
*Ability to design and deliver effective learning solutions to a business
*Previous experience of coaching in an ever changing environment
*Strong budget / financial control skills
*An organised approach to be able to coach a multitude of managers from diverse backgrounds, whilst establishing trust and integrity
*Experience of delivering change and measuring return on investment
*Experience of training/coaching and facilitating effectively
*Excellent communication skills, approachable and good at forming and developing relationships with people of all levels across the business
*Ability to use your own initiative, work with minimal supervision and the ability to 'think on your feet'
*Ability to prioritise own workload within a busy environment to meet deadlines
*Experience developing and delivering classroom training modules and other business learning solutions
*PC literate
