Artis HR are currently supporting an exciting professional service organisation with the recruitment of a HR Advisor. This is a permanent full-time role paying £26-28,000 and based in Swindon.
HR Advisor
Job Role:
This role is responsible for assisting the HR Business Partner with the delivery of the HR Service to the Partners and managers within the practice, in addition to supporting the HR consultant on the client side, on an ad hoc basis.

Budgets: None
Location: Swindon, with travel to other sites as required.
Primary Accountabilities
*Support and advise managers on terms and conditions of employment, policies and procedures including induction, absence management, flexible working, maternity, organisational change, recruitment and disciplinary.
*Work closely with the HR Business Partner on employee relation cases seeking their support and advice when needed.
*Maintain an up to date knowledge of employment law changes and case law.
*Work with the HR Business Partner to develop policies and procedures in line with legislation, terms and conditions of service and best practice.
*Maintain the HR policies, recording and monitoring review dates.
*To oversee and coordinate the day to day running of recruitment process, including organising and attending at events to continue to raise the profile of the business.
*Compile offer letters, employment contracts and other documentation for review as required.
*Liaise with training providers in the provision of relevant CPD training for the business, supporting training activities and associated administration where required.
*To support the HR Business Partner with relevant forms, processes and systems demonstrating discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality at all times.
*Updating the HRIS with employee data, providing regular management information, reporting and analysis of information as required.
*Maintain the intranet for HR and training, ensuring that all the information is correct and up to date
*Maintenance of the HRIS, and management of 'personal data' and 'sensitive personal data' in compliance with Data Protection Policy and reporting any concerns over potential breach of General Data Protection Regulations.
*Work closely with the Payroll team to ensure that all employee data processed in an accurately and timely manner to meet deadlines.
*Actively contribute to the efficient running of the HR department assisting the HR Business Partner with ad hoc assignments where necessary and pro - actively work on HR initiatives.
*To carry out project work as directed by the HR Business Partner.
*To fulfil any other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time that is reasonable and commensurate with this role.
Person Specification

Education & Qualifications
*Current CIPD student
*Graduate calibre
*Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook and HR systems
*Working knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice, legislation and employment law
Skills & Abilities
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to build relationships at all levels
*The ability to work on initiative, taking ownership to solve problems and make decisions
*A high degree of personal integrity, diplomacy and sensitivity
*A proactive, 'can do' approach
*Attention to detail, a good level of numerical and verbal reasoning
*The ability to prioritise multiple activities, manage deadlines and adapt to changing requirements
