IT Vendor Relationship Manager required by market leading, award winning financial services business in Swindon. The IT Vendor Relationship Manager will be responsible to build, maintain and enhance solid relationships with IT vendors and internal stakeholders and for ensuring IT and Business requirements are well understood and prioritised, and act as a point of contact for escalation and arbitration with IT vendors.

*Strong relationship and interpersonal skills to be applied in working with vendors across the entire contract life cycle
*Understanding of the technology or service delivered by the vendor
*Strong knowledge of the vendor, its market, its competitors and market trends
*Understanding of best practices and the methodologies and processes used for this category of IT vendor
*Understanding of political and power issues internally and among vendors
*Understanding of internal decision making and the decision making that occurs among vendors
*Understanding of vendor motivations, strategic plans and market challenges
*Strong dispute resolution and mediation skills to handle issue escalation and to drive win-win outcomes for both parties
*Strong ability to communicate with IT users and business leaders to understand requirements, expectations and value measures
*Knowledge of market trends in contract and pricing models, service delivery and performance management, and innovations

*BAU support & project teams
*IT Service Delivery Manager

Decision Making
*Applies knowledge and judgement in order to prioritise work load
*Presenting options, solutions and recommendations
*Where appropriate escalating to line management & thus facilitating the resolution of the problem

Qualifications / Experiences Required
*A solid background within an IT environment
*Experienced in managing complex IT contracts and relationships
*Service Level Management & reporting
*Working in a regulated financial services environment
*Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders

Technical Experience

This excellent opportunity comes with a salary to £50,000 p/a based on experience. The accompanying benefits include a company pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday plus many more.
